Function: Xylanase aids in the digestion and absorption of cellulose in feed, improving feed utilization and animal growth. It promotes beneficial bacterial growth and metabolism in the digestive tract while suppressing harmful bacteria, optimizing gut health. By enhancing cellulose degradation efficiency, it reduces reliance on costly feed ingredients, lowering costs. In ruminants (e.g.,cattle and sheep), xylanase breaks down lignin in feed, converting cell wall cellulose and lignin into smaller carbohydrates and sugars for easier nutrient absorption and growth.
Caution:
Temperature & pH: Enzyme activity is sensitive to temperature and pH. Optimal range: 40~60°C;pH 4.5~6.5.
Metal Ion Effects: Calcium ions above 0.1 mol/L inhibit activity;iron ions should be below 50 ppm.
Storage & Transport: Liquid formulations require storage below 25°C in darkness. Powder formulations must be moisture-proof and sealed. Avoid vigorous shaking during transport.
